Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"The restaurant looks a bit old but all the food are very nicely cooked. Taste good. The seafood is very fresh. Price reasonable. Thumbs-up!"
"A hidden local eatery in Klang that truly brings you back to ah ma’s time. Their Hokkien Mee is rich, fragrant, and full of 'wok hei,' generously topped with crispy pork lard and tender liver that adds depth to every bite. The fried noodles carry an authentic hometown taste that’s getting harder to find these days.. Pair it with classic local Chinese dishes, perfect with rice or just on their own, ideal for a simple dinner, catching up with family, or sharing stories over comforting food. A place where flavors are honest, familiar, and deeply nostalgic, reminding you of home-cooked meals and the warmth of family gatherings."
"Cantonese style cooking with Teochew cooks and Cantonese ladyboss in a lost corner of Klang. At dinner time, there are few shops opened and plenty of parking along the dark alleys. The highlight was the shark lips kam heong style. The bitter gourd in salted egg was served soggy. The tofu with pumpkin was served with overwhelming tumeric spice. All in RM100 cash for 2 pax. The fresh sharks fins in dried scallop broth at a steep RM200 is a real luxurious treat. Across the road we found the classic sharks fin restaurant New Harvest in this town. Many half price promotions."
"Have a hearty meal (Dinner) with family today...We order Crab with 2 varities of flavour..(Butter and Sweet sour taste)..apart from that we do order fried sotong, salted egg mantis, Belacan kangkung vege, fried rice and Hokkien mee noddles...all the food was delicious and tasty...esp. the crab that taste finger licking good...enviroment wise is a bit noisy because the shop is fully pack...service is good...food is serve within 30 mins after order was made...Must come back again to try for some other dish...price is reasonable too..."
"The food was really super.. We enjoyed our dinner . Happy tummy"
"Traditional, old-school Chinese restaurant vibes. Note: They only accept cash or bank transfer. The menu offers a wide variety of Chinese dishes. Do expect a wait of around 30 minutes, as there’s only one chef in the kitchen. We ordered the seafood porridge, fried sambal squid with petai, salted egg French beans, curry pork, fried mamak mee, and a side of flat fish. All the dishes were flavorful. Personally, I liked the seafood porridge and the fried flat fish the most. Curry pork slightly oily."
"Food ordered was ok ok in my personal view. We ordered their famous mamak mee, pork mee Hoon, braised fish lips, mantis prawn & some shell fish meat in Kam Heong. Food was overall ok but not hitting the wow wow.. those looking for some old school restaurant kind.. this could be your spot. Lastly, pricing wise also on the higher side."
"Old school seafood restaurant, paradise for seafood lover, the roasted crab is super fresh and delicious. Another signature menu is their shark fin soup, starting from RM200 (suit for 4pax). The pumpkin toufu is so appetising and silky. Superior Lala soup is very big size and fresh. Overall food quality are premium and the price is reasonable."
